Ashton Gardens West | Cory & Jawaher’s Stylish and Festive Wedding

Stylish and festive are definitely two words I would use to describe Cory and Jawaher’s Ashton Gardens West wedding day …. but also FUN!!

The Zaffe band escorting the wedding party from the chapel to the reception hall was just the start of the party, giving the guests a glimpse of what the evening would be like. Watching their family and friends join in the excitement and dancing gave me so much joy. I, of course, was smiling the entire time. Ummm, how could I not?? I was shoulder to shoulder in a cluster of people dancing & celebrating my sweet and beautiful couple. Everyone had their cell phones raised to capture the festive moment…. and I absolutely LOVED it!!!

So I also need to brag on my hubby (best assistant EVER) a little here. I knew it was going to be a little crazy and loud once the Zaffe started and I wouldn’t be able to tell Mark where I needed my off camera lighting (it was outside at night). So while I was the middle of the crowd walking backwards (hoping I didn’t step on someone’s toes!) he followed on the outside of the crowd lifting the stand high enough in the air so I would be able to capture these memories perfectly. Having him with me while shooting keeps me on my A game, he usually knows what I need without me having to say a word.

You honestly can’t be around Cory & Jawaher for very long before it is very clear not only how in love they are but also how much fun they have just being together. From their emotional private first look and vows to the non-stop dancing with their friends and family at the reception, they were pretty much smiling and inseparable the entire day. Capturing images of them fully enjoying their wedding day came so easy!!!

Cory and Jawaher, THANK YOU for letting me be a part of your amazing day!! Ya’ll are not only a beautiful couple but you are also kind and welcoming and it brought me so much joy to spend the day with you and your friends and family who were also kind and welcoming!!

One last thing I have to point out is that Jawaher’s sister, Yasmin, planned and orchestrated the beautiful decor and festivities flawlessly! You would seriously think she did it for a living!!!!! She’s got skills! Actually both of her sisters have planning and decorating skills – you should see the bridal shower Jawaher’s sister Summer did for her!!!! So much talent in that family!
