The Farmhouse | David & Katie’s Elegant and Romantic Wedding
David & Katie’s wedding day at The Farmhouse was full of elegant and romantic touches throughout the day. From the bridesmaid dresses in various shades of blush and the complimenting romantic florals to the amazing sugar flowers on the wedding cake. Needless to say, it was a beautiful wedding!!
There were so many sentimental moments during David & Katie’s elegant and romantic wedding at The Farmhouse. However, their first look and gift exchange was probably one of my favorite moments!! From their engagement session, I knew David was a romantic & sentimental soul after hearing about his elaborate proposal plan, but he outdid himself for his gift for his beautiful bride.

As David turned to look at Katie his smile began to grow increasingly. It was obvious to the few of us that had the privilege of witnessing this that they were both overwhelmed with so much joy (which is one of the reasons that I absolutely LOVE private first looks or touches). David & Katie took a few minutes just looking and smiling at each other, I’m not even sure if in that moment they remembered we were still there. It appeared as if they were literally lost in the moment with each other and it was so cute, they candidly leaned in forehead to forehead. They just took a moment, standing there smiling ear to ear!!
They then began exchanging their gifts and then Katie opened this large book David gave her to reveal there were pre-written cards and letters for future moments they would share together. Ummmm HELLO??? How sweet is that?? Ya’ll we try really hard to be a fly on the wall capturing these moments; however, when she turned to the 50 year anniversary card we literally said “Awwwwwww” out loud. We just couldn’t help it!! I mean can you blame us?
