Sage Cottage Vacation Rental captured by Texas Interior Photographer Ellen Williams
What I loved most about being a Texas interior photographer is that I get to work with many different interior designers, real estate agents, and small businesses who have such a unique eye and attention to detail! This is what I fell in love with while capturing Kelcie’s new vacation rental, Sage Cottage in Brenham Texas! Kelcie not only designed the space to include fun little whimsical decor touches that will not only make her guests smile but also remind them to stop, relax and enjoy their getaway but she also included so many special touches!
Not only will guests find the cutest ‘Sage Cottage’ branded items like little napkins, coffee cups, and drink coasters BUT also private label signature soaps and room spray made by a local herbalist to create a spa-like experience for her guests… that guests will be able to buy after they see just how amazing they smell! I thought this was such a unique touch to Kelcie’s vacation rental, one I have yet to see!
Kelcie Anton Interior Designer
Kelcie is an interior designer with a creative design eye for these things! Her true passion is designing homes and oh, does she do it SO well! When she started to build her own home something ignited in her making her want more! While working with Kelcie I could see the love she put into the Sage Cottage vacation rental. She truly lives by her word when she says she designs life-giving homes! Each home is truly designed with intention, connection, hospitality, and beauty above all else!
Kelcie is one of those people that if you met her, instantly you’d like her! Kelcie is also a realtor in the Brenham area and has an amazing design eye, she has helped style other vacation rental properties so I knew her own would have all the special little touches. Fun fact, I met Kelcie during a Round Top antiques show several years ago, and we have worked together several times in all of the industries we have been in – from weddings to real estate to vacation rentals. She is a rare gem with a heart of gold!
But enough about Kelcie, let’s dive into these stunning photos from the cozy Sage Cottage vacation rental!
Sage Cottage Vacation Rental Photography
The Sage Cottage sits on 60 acres of gorgeous rolling hills just outside of Brenham Texas giving you privacy and a little getaway from the city! Before even walking into the Sage Cottage you could already feel the cozy vibes and artful aesthetic it gives. I loved the little firepit and outdoor seating right in front of the home giving the guests a reason to enjoy the nature surrounding the home from the small herd of cattle as well as the three wild donkeys that roam the pastures!
Not only was the Sage Cottage giving cozy vibes on the outside it was giving even more on the inside! I was completely obsessed with the living room with its Mid-century modern electric fireplace in the corner of the living room as well as its colorful furniture, including the velvet olive green couch and the velvet Accent Chair with Fringe from Opalhouse both of these made the comfiest accent pieces to the living room!
Aside from the most stunning living room, the bedrooms were my second favorite part of the home! I loved how Kelcie had named the rooms giving them a personal touch and background story! The “William” room was inspired by an art print called “unapologetically William” by artist Janet Hill. Just from the room itself, you could see how much Kelcie loves trickling in whimsical art and decor into the space, from the big gold Ant figurine on the bedside table to the gold mushroom on the wall shelf. The “Honey” room was also a cozy room with beautiful unique touches. It had details of bees, butterflies & whimsy decor including a canopy that made it ten times cozier.
I can’t get enough of the cozy Sage Cottage, Kelcie truly put her love into every single square foot of this home, it was remarkable! Looking to book this gorgeous vacation rental? Check out Kelcie’s Instagram page for more!
