Wedding at The Farmhouse / Jd & Maddie

Jd and Maddie were married last Sunday at The Farmhouse in Montgomery, Texas.  It was a beautifully crisp Winter day, perfect weather for this amazing couple’s highly anticipated wedding day.   I’ve been lucky enough to capture a few weddings at the beautiful Farmhouse and it never disappoints. The bright white venue made Maddie’s wine color palette literally pop.  Maddie perfectly planned this pop of color throughout the day, from her lipstick, to the bridesmaids dresses, her choice of florals and around the reception space.

I felt so special when we first arrived at The Farmhouse, Maddie greeted me with a hug that was filled so much excitement and joy!!  When I met Maddie’s dad, he told me he knew I must be somebody special based on the excitement his daughter had when she saw me….. MADE MY DAY!!  Maddie and her bridesmaids had the best music playlist, it was the perfect music while I worked, relaxing yet upbeat. We enjoyed capturing so many sweet moments leading up to the ceremony. Maddie and Jd exchanged letters and gifts that brought lots of smiles from both of them right before they shared a tender First Look.

Maddie was absolute beaming as she walked down the aisle to meet Jd and it was such a touching ceremony filled with lots of emotion.

The reception was full of laughter, dancing, and excitement as Jd and Maddie’s friends and family celebrated with them and the private last dance these two shared….. Well, it was absolutely LOVE-ly (pun fully intended :)!  Now the grand exit for these two was priceless! In keeping with Red Raider tradition, they officially kicked off their marriage with a tortilla toss…. with BRANDED MONOGRAMMED TORTILLAS!!! SO FUN!!

This was the first wedding my daughter-in-law, Bianca second shot with me and she really did an amazing job and several of her images are matched with mine below!  I think we made a great team!!  She looked like me most of the day, smiling ear to ear!!  We absolutely had a blast capturing your beautiful day, Mr. & Mrs. Moore!!

 When I saw this image of Maddie captured by Bianca, my heart smiled!!  This is one of my favorites of Maddie that Bianca captured!  Such a sweet and emotional First Look with Dad!  Their reaction says it all!!!  I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the room during her Dad’s speech!!
