your personal WEDDING EXPERIENCE
I'm Ellen, Owner and Lead Photographer for Ellen Renee Photography! I'm so excited that you found me and because I believe that getting to know our clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I’d love to tell you a little about me and my family!
Now that you’ve gotten to know us a little bit, let's talk about our “Wedding Experience”!!
Here are a few things you should know...
Mark and I are high school sweethearts!
Mark, will almost always assist me during your engagement session and on your wedding day.
We’ve been married since 07-02-93. (Best. Day. Ever.)
- We have two sons, one bonus beauty of a daughter-in-law, two precious grandsons, and a little granddaughter due Spring 2021!
We live on the Northwest side of Houston, Texas but we love to travel!
I photographed my first two weddings (for friends) in 2013 and in 2016 Mark convinced my it was time to stop thinking of photography as a hobby so I officially opened my photography business under the name Who Is Leading e Photography, then in 2019 I quit my bookkeeping job to be able to do photography full-time.
When I'm not behind the camera, we usually head out to our simple little cottage in the country to relax!
I shoot between 15-20 weddings annually. This gives me the time needed to really serve my clients well.
I love creating beautiful images but more importantly, I love serving couples and their families on one of the greatest days of their lives!!

I’m sure your mind is racing with all that needs to be planned. It’s all very exciting but it can also be somewhat overwhelming. You’re planning the day that you’ve been anticipating your whole life and yet you only get one shot at it! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as your wedding photographer is to make this one aspect of the planning process simple. Photography is more than just images, it’s a real part of your day. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing experience. When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, that results in genuine, joyful images! Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience..... shouldn’t it be fun? and enjoyable? and natural? I think so! I want to not only capture memories for you, but to create an experience that you will never forget.
My Philosophy
One way I ensure that my brides and grooms enjoy the BEST experience possible is through forming a relationship with my couples. I try my best to make sure that all of our couples are the PERFECT fit before officially booking. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the whole process with them! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that helps you warm up to the camera so that you are ready to rock and roll on the wedding day! By the time the wedding day arrives, we are more like friends and that creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! Now that you know a little bit about my approach to the wedding day, you can continue reading to find more detailed information about YOUR PERSONAL WEDDING EXPERIENCE!

**This collection is HIGHLY recommended for
multiple location weddings**
I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! I actually love it when couples ask me to photograph them in a location that means something special to them! I book engagement sessions at least two months in advance and 120 miles of travel are included.
I average about 75 images per hour that I'm shooting. I love delivering my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you want. I believe in freely sharing my work because that is what I would want if I were in your shoes!
I am often asked how much time is enough time to capture the full wedding story and honestly that answer is unique to YOU and what is most important to you and whether or not there will be multiple locations (i.e. getting married at one location and having the reception at the other)! However, my main goal right now is securing and saving your date since I will only be accepting 10 weekend weddings starting in 2022. You can always add additional hours or upgrade to a larger collection as we get closer to the big day and we have a good idea of your timeline.
I love being both interactive and discreet throughout the wedding day. There will be parts of the wedding day when I will voice my opinion and make suggestions in order to accomplish everything that needs to be done while staying on schedule. There will also be moments when you may not even know that I’m there. (The ceremony, during dances and toasts, etc.) I guide my couples on how to pose and interact during their engagement session so they are naturals on the wedding day and don’t need quite as much guidance from me!
Once I have answered any questions you may have and you have decided that my Wedding Experience is exactly what you’re looking for on your wedding day, the next step is a booking proposal. I will create an online proposal that will walk you through the package and when you’re ready you can save your date by signing your contract and paying the 25% non-refundable advance online.
