When I had the opportunity to shoot for Whittington Bridal, I knew it was going to be something special! Their beautiful new bridal boutique near Houston needed personal branding photography that would capture not just the stunning interiors, but the unique, bubbly, “be our guest” experience they offer to every bride who walks through their doors. We planned a half-day interior design photoshoot to showcase their new location, followed by a half-day branding shoot to bring their client experience to life through my lens. And let me tell you, this was such a fun project to be a part of!
So, the original plan was to do everything in one day, but Hurricane Beryl had other ideas! We had to adapt and ended up shooting the interior portion one hot morning (without AC!) and came back a few weeks later to capture the branding portion with the team, this time with AC, thank goodness. Despite the hiccups, every moment was filled with energy, and I loved every minute, even the sweaty ones, of capturing Whittington Bridals’ gorgeous interiors and their joyful client experience.
Personal branding photography is more than just a photoshoot, it’s an opportunity to tell your story in a way that resonates with your dream clients! For Whittington Bridal, that story is about fun, hospitality, and making every bride feel like the most important guest. We didn’t just take pictures; we captured the laughter, the bubbles, the champagne toasts, and the many thoughtful touchpoints that create their unforgettable client experience. And that’s what personal branding photography is all about, showing your potential clients the heart and soul behind your brand.
Working with me means collaboration, creativity, and flexibility. I understand the importance of both the big picture and the small details—everything from the overall aesthetic of your space to the little touches that reflect your brand’s personality. Whether it’s a full day or a half day of shooting, my goal is to make the process smooth and enjoyable for everyone involved.
In the case of Whittington Bridal, we adapted to unexpected changes (thanks, Hurricane Beryl!), and still managed to capture the boutique’s charm and warmth. I always approach my shoots with a flexible mindset, ready to adjust plans as needed while ensuring we stay true to your vision. If weather, schedules, or other factors throw a curveball, I’m here to make sure it doesn’t impact the quality of the shoot.
If you’re an interior designer or boutique owner wondering why you should invest in personal branding photography, here’s what you can expect:
At Whittington Bridal, we did a half-day shoot for their boutique’s stunning interior design and another half-day for personal branding to capture the lively client experience. Half-day sessions are perfect when you want to focus on specific areas or need to quickly refresh your portfolio with new images.
On the other hand, full-day sessions allow for a more comprehensive approach. They give us time to capture every detail, including lifestyle shots, team interactions, behind-the-scenes moments, and the overall ambiance. Whether you’re rebranding, launching a new location, or simply updating your visuals, full-day sessions provide a deeper dive into your brand’s story.
